Caminha is known for its relaxed atmosphere, beautiful natural surroundings and charming medieval streets. The popular beaches of Moledo are also just a short drive away, offering beautiful Atlantic coastline and some of the best scenery in northern Portugal. Across the river lies Spain, visible from the apartment.
Getting Around
Caminha is a compact and walkable town, making it easy to explore the historic centre, waterfront and local restaurants on foot. The train station is within walking distance and offers convenient connections to Porto and other towns along the northern Portuguese coast. Moledo Beach is only a short drive away and is well known for its wide sandy shoreline and beautiful Atlantic views. Having a car is recommended if you plan to explore the surrounding coastline, countryside and nearby villages.
